The official website of the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity recently published the theme of COP15 “Ecological Civilization: Building a Shared Future for All Life.” Recently, Wang Baoqing, the leader of the Other Shore Arts, visited the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and make an introduction for Dr. Zhou Jinfeng: given the CBD COP15 will be held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, in response to the requirements of "new bright spot and a new image", the Other Shore Arts plans to hold an art photography exhibition of endangered animals with international awareness and attitude at the same time, which will better build a bridge for the communication between China and the world, and introduce the event in detail "The world is disappearing - they and our future." We hope to advocate the public that protects endangered wildlife is to protect ourselves."
Dr. Zhou Jinfeng expressed appreciation for using art and exhibition to help ecological civilization and introduced that in February this year, CBCGDF will lead a team to participate in the CBD COP15 working conference in Kunming. In particular, the CBCGDF is the only organization other than the Chinese government invited to participate in. This conference has been paid great attention to, and many organizations contacted CBCGDF for further cooperation. Although the application for the conference has not officially started, preparations for the CBCGDF have been done. We hope to hold a music and fashion side event during COP15. A few days ago, we just completed the concert "Wuliang Mountain Divine Tune MONKEY- A Duo Gulie concert". A Duo Gulie, who is good at singing all kinds of ecological music and playing original ecology musical instruments, is the representative of ecological music. Professor Liang Mingyu, a famous fashion designer in China, makes clothes and installation art with recyclable jeans. Professor Liang Mingyu's trilogy Masai Mara, ocean and forest will be applied for exhibition at the venue of this conference as our special artworks, to make a voice for China's biodiversity and ecological protection to the international community through art communication.
Dr. Zhou Jinfeng agreed to awaken the public's awareness of environmental protection in the way of music, art, and fashion and expressed his willingness to work with the Other Shore Arts to promote the exhibition of endangered animal art photography tour. He proposed that the most important thing for the success of the exhibition is the financial support. The leader of the Art Society proposed to raise funds from enterprises.
