6. Protection of the participation of HbS people.

Over the past three years, the CBCGDF has established more than 120 China conservation areas (CCAfa) throughout the country. One of them is China Conservation Area for Libellula Angelina at Tianjin. The habitat of Libellula Angelina needs to be renovated including the ponds and roads, and even all reeds need to be cut off. This whole renovation will make the red list of endangered species of Libellula Angelina disappear. As soon as we got this news, we sent a letter to the relevant leaders of the Tianjin Municipal Committee. The renovation project was finally called to a halt and the habitat was get well protected. This should be called an ecological civilization. Besides, it is also wrong to collect seashells in Tianjin. After the development of industrial civilization, only 5% of the natural coastline is left here in Tianjin. This coastal wetland is the only place where thousands of birds travel from the tropics to Siberia every year to hunt and feed. If we want to develop the coastline, go beachcombing or pick up more seashells, those are very inconsistent with the construction of ecological civilization. We all know that coastal wetlands are the cradle of marine life.

We vigorously promote people-based protection, in which we can pass on history, which is part of the protection of Milu and the culture of Milu, and also part of President Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization ideology.

The rejuvenation of Milu, including its population and gene problems, should be restored to the ecological and natural environment. Since different natural diets may lead to its gene mutation; all organisms have environmental characteristics, and its adaptation to the environment ultimately leads to its gene mutation and gene solidification, which forming to different populations. Genes are the real correct direction for the protection and development of Milu and should continue to develop in this direction.

‘Nation prosperity leads to the prosperity of Milu'. What we should learn is what President Xi Jinping said, which is called ‘the prosperity of ecology means the prosperity of civilization'. If civilization thrives, then the country will thrive further. Eco-prosperity, however, cannot remain in the captivity of a single species. Just like the name of our foundation from Milu to biodiversity, and from biodiversity to green development; building our beautiful China, through the wilderness of species to build the natural ecological environment as well as a human habitat.

To study, promote, research and explore Milu culture, we should focus on the construction of Milu culture in the era of ecological civilization: it should be wild, natural and in-habitat; and it is our participation in the construction of human civilization community to have the protection and attempt of multi-species. These efforts are not only to protect an animal of Milu, but the culture of Milu is also not only about Milu, but it should also be the culture of Milu in the era of ecological civilization.
