On the afternoon of June 9, Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited by Li Dihua, Dean of the Institute of Landscape Design, Peking University, to attend the Peking University Teaching Report on Swift Conservation and the Beijing Cultural Landscape and Urban Biodiversity Conservation Forum. At the forum, Secretary-General Zhou Jinfeng highly appreciated the scientific research work of Swift carried out by Peking University students and commented that the research on Swift Protection by Peking University students not only protected a species but also took seriously the life and biology from the perspective of ecological civilization. They were practitioners and pioneers of civilization. Their actions will awaken people to participate in the construction of a new civilization.

Secretary-General Zhou Jinfeng stressed that the protection of swifts is concrete and meticulous work, and it has far-reaching significance. In the long run, human beings are facing changes of social civilization. From primitive civilization, agricultural civilization, industrial civilization to ecological civilization, human beings have come to the crossroads of destiny, which is an important turning point.

Just as the prophets of primitive civilization began to try to grow peaches by picking peaches, this phenomenon is the beginning of the pioneers' exploration of agricultural civilization, and it is a change of civilization. When the peaches were not enough to eat, the prophets of agricultural civilization began to use industrial methods, such as reclaim land, use pesticides and fertilizers, and efficiently cultivate peaches on a large scale. Thus, we are also entering the era of industrial civilization.

Is this scientific conservation research? And is science important? Secretary-General Zhou Jinfeng encouraged the students that science is important, but not the most important. The most important thing is the action we started today. Like our ancestors, this action began to try to grow peaches and use steam engines. Today, for the first time, we began to consider urban construction and changes in production and lifestyle with the idea of ecological civilization. This civilization includes religion, history, culture, art, science and so on. Swifts protection research is an important part of it.

In addition, we need to note that there will be conflicts and changes in the process of civilization change. Secretary-General Zhou Jinfeng emphasized to the students: "If you search my name on the Internet, you will know that I criticize many things because some people do not attach importance to the change of civilization. But I have always praised you today because what you are doing is what the pioneers and practitioners of the era of civilization change should do. When you build houses, you will think about living things other than human beings. That is an ecological civilization. The steps you have taken are like that the ancestors planted the first peach. You have awakened us.

At the end of the meeting, Secretary-General Zhou Jinfeng expressed his gratitude to the students and proposed that the CBCGDF would further support the students of Peking University to carry out Swift Science Research by means of financial support, international publicity, project bonus, and Book publishing. Let's encourage these pioneers of ecological civilization. In the new era, new explorers will further promote China's ideology and culture to the world, to explore a sustainable development path, to build a beautiful China, to create a good production and living environment for the people, and to contribute to global ecological security.
