On the occasion of the UNFCCC COP24 convening, the Secretary General of CBCGDF Dr. Zhou Jinfeng and the relevant person in charge of an environmental consulting unit in Washington, DC, exchanged views on environmental and climate change activities management. The two sides exchanged views on how to support China's work in forest law enforcement, governance and trade, especially the international importation of legally harvested timber into China.

The senior expert said that he had learned about Dr. Zhou's work many years ago and has been paying attention to CBCGDF's efforts in biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in recent years. He has worked for IUCN for a long time and has led projects related to issues such as trade and invasive alien species and coordinated USAID-funded projects on African biodiversity. He cordially invited Dr. Zhou to participate in a Sino-British research project. In this regard, Dr. Zhou readily accepted the invitation and expressed his gratitude. CBCGDF has been organizing relevant team and invites all sectors of the community to participate.
