Dr Zhou Jinfeng met with Prof. Katsuichi Uchida and had a wonderful conversation at the Peking University on Aug 9th. Prof. Uchida was on behalf of the Bai Xian Asia Institute to attend BXAI Summer Program held in Yenching Academy at PKU.

Mr Katsuichi Uchida is now a Professor Emeritus of Law at Waseda University. Before retiring from the University in March 2017, he had served as Vice President for International Affairs from 2006 to 2014 and Assistant to the President for Global Affairs to 2017.

Topics discussed include China-Japan-Korea people-to-people exchanges, esp in Youth communication; China's newly enacted Environmental Law, and CBCGDF's practice in pioneering the field of Environmental Public Interest Litigation; joint efforts and best practices between Chinese and Japenese; etc.

In the very inspiring conversation, both believes it's very important to streaghen communication and exchanges between the three peoples in building a brighter future in the region.
