As a member of IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL), Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of CBCGDF, was invited to recommend law fellows for the Global Environment & Sustainability Law Fellows Program, offered by UN Environment and the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C.
In recent years, CBCGDF has successfully recommended a number of volunteers to the world’s famous universities, and outstanding young talents in the field to receive admission. We hope that talents will be recommended to world-class universities and related organizations and play important roles in their growth as internationalized talents.
UN Environment is looking for public sector lawyers from developing countries working on environmental law, natural resources law, or associated fields of law. If the relevant personnel have the will to further study, apply now for the Global Environment & Sustainability Law Fellows Program, offered by UN Environment and the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C.
Successful fellows will receive a Master of Laws (LL.M) Degree in Environmental Law from the Georgetown University Law Center. Upon graduation, fellows will gain international environmental legal and policy experience working with UN Environment for up to three months. The fellows must commit to return to their home country to continue working in public sector environmental law and policy for not less than three years.
The fellowship will cover the full cost of tuition, travel, and provide a stipend for living expenses.
