On July 13, 2023, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng, secretary-general ofthe China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) met with Mr. HU Xianliang, expert from the Biological Control Working Group of CBCGDF and director of Xiangchen Eco-site to make a technical exchange and work report on the green prevention and control of alien invasive species such as Fall webworm(Hyphantria cunea) and pine wood nematode(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus).

Mr. Hu Xianliang has long been committed to the research of biological control. During the meeting, he introduced the green prevention and control work carried out in recent years, including Fall webworm(Hyphantria cunea), pine wood nematode(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus) and other epidemics, and made a report. Taking Jiyang, Yichun, Qingdao and other cities as examples, he introduced that the prevention and control of pine wood nematode disease needs to adhere to the scientific prevention and control, focusing on different scientific control methods in different environments and regions , for long-term real-time monitoring and control.
