On June 28, 2023, CBCGDF and Women in Environment officially signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

Both parties have agreed to engage in exchanges and cooperation in biodiversity, environmental protection, and women's empowerment. While the people from both China and Nepal are committed to conserve the ecological environment and natural habitats, and to promote sustainable development, both sides will be committed to enhancing understanding between the Chinese and Nepalese people and building a bridge of communication, including:

  1. To explore bees and other biodiversity conservation opportunities - establish a network of contacts with potential partners (companies, foundations, international financial institutions, governments, non-profit organizations, etc.) to propose solutions in biodiversity, environmental conservation, gender equality and related fields.

  2. To joint implement international projects in the field of environmental protection and biodiversity.

  3. To invite the other party to actively speak up for developing countries in the global environmental conferences.

  4. To jointly draft a motion on membership fees of IUCN and submit it to the 2025 World Conservation Congress for consideration, requiring: (1) exemption of membership fees for non-governmental organizations from least development countries; (2) encourage members of the Union to assist each other, narrow regional gaps and achieve common development.
