On the evening of June 26, 2023, the launching ceremony of the International Green Science Center for Latin America and the Caribbean (IGSCLAC) was held in Dongsheng International Science and Technology Park, Zhongguancun, No. 1 Yongtaizhuang North Street, Haidian District, Beijing. Having been invited by Marco Antonio Cabero Zabalaga, the President of the Andean Road Countries for Science and Technology(ARCST), the deputy secretary-general of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) delivered an opening speech at the launching ceremony, which was live streamed by CBCGDF Media, and 1752 people participated online in the launching ceremony.

The Green Science Center for Latin America and the Caribbean Countries (IGSCLAC) is the bridge which has the vision to promote the collaboration, mutual understanding, friendship and the mechanisms of science popularization,technology development and innovation in different areas of knowledge. We plan to engage society in actions that favor the well living and well-being of people in harmony with nature, utilizing scientific, technical, and educational methods for this purpose.
