Pakistan, being a friendly neighbor, has maintained a strong bilateral relationship with China. The two nations have engaged in deep cooperation and exchanges in various fields such as the Belt and Road Initiative, economy, culture, and social development. The friendly relations between China and Pakistan continue to deepen and flourish.
The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) has established a long-standing cooperative relationship with Pakistan. On June 20, 2022, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of CBCGDF, visited the Embassy of Pakistan in China upon the invitation of His Excellency Moin ul Haque, the Ambassador of Pakistan to China. On April 27, 2023, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng held a special meeting with two counsellors from the Embassy of Pakistan in China, Ms. Fareena Arshad and Mr. Khan Muhammad, to discuss cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade, culture, and climate.

In June 2023, a business delegation from Pakistan visited China to participate in the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Industrial and Supply Chains Forum” and the “13th Kashgar, Central and South Asia Commodity Fair (Kashgar Fair)”. The main purpose of this visit was to strengthen and expand bilateral trade between Pakistan and China, showcase Pakistan’s business development, and explore Chinese products. Some companies within the delegation also had specific procurement tasks, covering areas such as steel, aviation, new energy, automobiles, furniture, food processing, electronics, and agricultural products.
To enhance and broaden economic and trade cooperation with Pakistan, the CBCGDF International Environmental Special Fund will invite selected members of this business delegation to Hunan Province for business matching. The “Pakistan-China Business Matching Conference” will be held in Changsha on June 18th. Enterprises and organizations interested in conducting negotiations and cooperating with the Pakistani business delegation are cordially invited to participate in this event. It will serve as an excellent platform for trade and business collaboration between China and Pakistan.
