In an effort to contribute to the development of a technologically strong nation and leverage the talent recommendation function of national-level academic societies to serve scientific professionals, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) places great importance on the nomination process for academicians in 2023. As part of this commitment, the foundation appointed a Deputy Secretary-General to participate in the "Academic Group's Candidate Nomination Conference for Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering," held on June 2, 2023 at the China Hall of Science and Technology.

Established in 1985, CBCGDF is a national-level scientific organization dedicated to biodiversity conservation and green development. According to the regulations, candidates for the Chinese Academy of Sciences can only be nominated through academicians or national-level academic groups organized by the China Association for Science and Technology. On the other hand, candidates for the Chinese Academy of Engineering can be nominated both through academicians and national-level academic groups organized by the China Association for Science and Technology.

Recognizing the significance of this work, CBCGDF will actively nominate the most outstanding scientists in the fields of biodiversity conservation and green development as candidates for the academicians.

This endeavor aligns with the Foundation's mission to promote scientific excellence, advance technological innovation, and foster sustainable development in China. By actively participating in the nomination process, CBCGDF aims to contribute to the nation's scientific advancement and cultivate a vibrant academic community that nurtures exceptional talent.
