Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and Executive Committee Member of the Club of Rome (CoR), which is one of the organizers of this event, has been invited to attend the Forum Anthropoz?n 2023 held in Heiligenblut am Gro?glockner, Austria from June 15th to 17th, 2023. The purpose of this forum is to explore the close relationship between humans and nature across different disciplines, and to promote the emergence of innovative solutions to facilitate sustainable development.

The word “Anthropoz?n” was introduced into scientific discussion by atmospheric chemist and Nobel Prize winner Paul J. Crutzen in 2002, which refers to the phenomenon that human beings rapidly and massively change the Earth’s surface and the living conditions provided for animals and plants on a global scale through their own actions. The Forum Anthropoz?n aims to rethink the relationship between human beings and nature and achieve sustainable development by promoting innovative solutions. The activities include “ZEIT-GESPR?CH”, “SMART CITIES | SMART REGIONS”, climate workshops, conference discussions and speeches by experts across the globe, providing creativity and inspiration for participants.
