On June 1, 2023, the dialogue on “Universal Service and Fairness of Fundraising Platform”, sponsored by the Internet Fund of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF Internet Fund) and co-organized by the Public Welfare Working Committee of China Computer Society (CCF), was successfully held.

The speech by Xie Dong, executive member of CCF Public Welfare Working Committee, is summarized as follows:

There are four topics at the technical level of operation to promote the Internet fundraising platform Tech 4 Good.

The first is to avoid homogenization. Platforms need to provide differentiated services. 

Second, the Internet fundraising platforms should have core competitiveness, make use of the sponsors, and innovate fundraising methods.

Third, the platforms need to do a good job of data connectivity.

Finally, it is hoped that diversified forms can be used to enhance the public’s awareness of and attention to public welfare.
