To promote international scientific exchange and cooperation in the field of biodiversity conservation and green development, and to enhance the ability of Chinese social organizations to deeply participate in global environmental and technological governance as well as promote sustainable development, the Legal Work Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) recently held a learning seminar on the "Law of the People’s Republic of China on Administration of Activities of Overseas Nongovernmental Organizations in the Mainland of China" to study and discuss legal issues related to receiving overseas awards and donations.

The themes of this meeting include:

1. What is the concept of "conducting activities" indicated in "Law of the PRC on Administration of Activities of Overseas NGOs in the Mainland of China"?

2. What is the factual and legal distinction between overseas NGOs donating solely to China and conducting activities in China?
