At the invitation of Academician John Cobb, Jr., Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), attended the 16th International Forum on Ecological Civilization and delivered a wonderful keynote speech. The theme of the 16th International Ecological Civilization Forum is "Deep Transformation for Ecological Civilization", which consisted of three main sections: Inner Transformation, Social Transformation, and Youth Transformation. In China, people still remember three major great ancestors: Sui Renshi, You Chaoshi and Shen Nongshi ??(燧人氏、有巢氏、神农氏). They made three major steps: fire development, home development and agriculture development. ??Thousands years ago or tens of thousands years ago, they led the transformation?? from primitive civilization to agriculture civilization. ??Today, what you are doing?? are the same or even more vital for human, for the climate issue, ??for the biodiversity difficulty, for the public health problems, for the six?? massive extinctions，UNFCCC, CBD, CITES,  Ramsar, ??all those conventions are far from enough. People's participation?? is the only solution for us to sustainably live on the planet. ??Today?? you are not alone. In China, we have around 200 Community Conservation Areas (CCAfas). We've been practicing? the idea of "Biodiversity Conservation in Our Neighborhood"(BCON). We have established hundreds of Eco-Civilization Sites?? across the country. People start to participate for deep transformation. Let's?? work together to build a shared community for us mankind. ??Let's work together to build a shared future for all life on earth.
