On April 27, 2023, ZHOU Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), met with two counselors from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in China, Ms. Fareena Arshad and Mr. Khan Muhammad.

During the meeting, Dr. ZHOU Jinfeng talked about the history and development of CBCGDF, and introduced in detail the efforts made by CBCGDF in China and around the world in recent years to promote biodiversity conservation and green development, including actively holding and participating in relevant conferences, offering advices and suggestions to the national "two sessions" and major government agencies, establishing a "CCAfa" system across the country, filing environmental public interest litigation, etc.

Ms. Arshad and Mr. Muhammad expressed their appreciation for China's major achievements since its reform and opening-up, and their strong desire to cooperate with outstanding talents from all walks of life in China on issues of common concern to both countries. After the introduction by Dr. ZHOU, the two counselors were delighted to note that there are many experiences that Pakistan can learn from and refer to in the various tasks carried out by CBCGDF, and there will be great opportunities to cooperate with CBCGDF in the future. After preliminary agreement between the two parties, the Pakistani Embassy in China will sign a memorandum of understanding with CBCGDF to lay a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation.
