In the morning, Professor Ye Baohua of Shandong Agricultural University presided over the academic forum. This was followed by expert reports, including Professor Liu Yusheng's presentation on "Insects Changing Agriculture - New Enhancements for Agriculture". Later, Qi Xianrui introduced the "Development and Future Prospects of Hawthorn Industry in Laiwu Wanbang", Wang Zhenmin introduced the "Industrialization and Outlook of Leech Resources", and Hou Yurong introduced the "Development and Future Development Plan of the Featured Industry of Laiwu Chicken Leg Scallion".

The forum featured dialogues among experts, enterprises, and village cadres on site.

Harnessing the power of insects can support green agriculture, reshape ecosystems of agricultural biodiversity, restructure the biological industry, and completely eliminate the input of exogenous chemical pesticides. Therefore, the CBCGDF has been committed to supporting local farmers and rural institutions to carry out biological pest control. This meeting is one of a series of meetings aimed at training farmers and encouraging more people to participate in the practice of ecological agriculture. Linda Wong, the Deputy Secretary-General of the CBCGDF, stated that more such training programs will be launched in the future to support rural revitalization in China.
