On February 10, 2023, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received the reply from the International Business School of Zhejiang University on agreeing to co-organize the 2023 International Biodiversity Conference (IBCOP).

CBCGDF will work with many international and domestic academic institutions and ecological conservation organizations including the International Business School of Zhejiang University, to jointly promote the agenda planning, guest invitation and preparation of the conference. The second phase of the fifteenth Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), chaired by China, was successfully held from December 7 to 19, 2022. The conference has achieved a series of achievements such as the "Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework", which has set a new goal of biodiversity conservation with both ambition and pragmatism for the world. Under the guidance of the idea of ecological civilization, and through the key node of the first "International Biodiversity Day" after the successful convening of COP15, From Montreal to World People – 2023 International Biodiversity Conference (IBCOP) will mobilize the whole society to actively and widely participate in the construction of ecological civilization and biodiversity conservation, gather consensus and strength to promote the world's people to take joint action to implement the objectives of biodiversity conservation, and further promote the global dissemination, identification and practice of the concept of a Shared Future for All Life on Earth and a community of shared future for mankind.
