On December 17, 2022, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) Environmental and Allergy Medicine Professional Committee kick-off meeting was held in Beijing.

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of CBCGDF, Wang Chen, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Cheng Lei, Director-designate of the Allergy Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University,  Mr. Qiu Ning and other experts and industry insiders attended the meeting.

The contents of Dr. Zhou Jinfeng’s speech are summarized as follows:

Academicians, experts, colleagues and friends, good morning. First of all, on behalf of CBCGDF, I would like to express my gratitude to all the speakers and participants who have worked hard in the preparatory work, and especially express my high respect to the academicians and experts who provided support and participated in our work.

First of all, Dr. Zhou gave a brief introduction of CBCGDF.

Then, he said, the World Health Organization (WHO) puts forward the viewpoint of One Health, what is One Health? WHO believes that human health, environmental health and animal health are all the same health and are deeply related to each other. We need to make great efforts to put health and the environment, especially to create our Environmental and Allergy Medical Professional Committee, to take on the heavy responsibility, and work hard to write papers on the land of China for the better and happy life of the people. We set up this professional committee here today to support the establishment of a scientist's home, support related scientific research and popularize science.

Finally, I hope that we will join hands and make our contribution to environmental and allergy medicine, to our unified health, the health of the environment and the health of animals. Thank you all!
