Wang Binkang, executive editor-in-chief, gave a detailed introduction to the background and content framework. The book plans to take "2023 China’s Green Manufacturing Situation Analysis and Policy Recommendations" as the general report, and consists of green design, green energy, green supply chain, green finance, green economy, circular intelligent innovation and development, etc.

Xie Boyang gave specific instructions on how to do a good job in compiling the book, including the composition of the editorial team and the overall structure. He clearly pointed out that embodying practicality should be the biggest feature of this Book, which is also the guiding ideology for compiling it. On the operational level, it should not be a purely theoretical book, but combine theory with practice, so that enterprises can truly feel the implementability and operability of green development strategy design.

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng emphasized the core values advocated by the book. He said that the theoretical part should clarify what are green development and green economy. Many people confuse the green economy with sustainable development, and we should take this opportunity to clarify their definition. Meanwhile, we should also emphasize its biodiversity attributes, which not only include sustainability, but also ecological friendliness, presenting the idea of harmonious coexistence between human and the nature. Only in this way can the green economy go deeper.
