On August 16, 2022, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held the Seminar on "Yellow River Basin Protection and High-Quality Development " to do study and research on the ecological protection and sustainable development of the Yellow River Basin, aiming to provide contributions for the ecological protection and sustainable development of the Yellow River Basin.

Ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin are China's major national strategies, and there are 4 clear requirements for the conservation and intensive utilization of water resources in the Yellow River: water to determine the city, water to determine the land, water to determine the people, and water to determine the production.

At the meeting, Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary general of CBCGDF, shared his experience and his understanding of water management and sustainable water use in the Yellow River Basin, focusing on the cases of rainfall in the basin, water landscape and etc.
