Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT) will be hosting three conferences over the next six months with the focus on the nature of the various shifts in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the impacts of the rise of China on the world.

The first of these three virtual conferences is called “the 25th Anniversary: The Future of Hong Kong”. GIFT did this on behalf of the Commissioner’s Office of China’s Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong S.A.R. The conference is geared towards a global audience of key opinion shapers, decision-makers, business and political leaders and the general public interested in gaining more well-balanced perspectives on Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and China.

This first conference is being held to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China. The goal is to bring together experts and opinion shapers to discuss the challenges faced by Hong Kong and how it has remained a resilient and dynamic city. The conference will also provide an opportunity to have open conversations about what the future will hold, with a focus on Hong Kong’s place on the international stage.
