On August 2, 2022, at the invitation of His Excellency Monsieur Laurent Bili, French Ambassador to China, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) attended the luncheon hosted by the French Embassy in China. During the luncheon, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng had a cordial exchange with His Excellency Monsieur Laurent Bili on a number of ecological and environmental issues.

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng introduced to Ambassador Monsieur Laurent Bili the history of CBCGDF and its efforts in biodiversity conservation, and presented a set of Père David's Deer stamps as a commemoration of the friendly exchanges between the two peoples in history. Ambassador Monsieur Laurent Bili highly appreciated CBCGDF's efforts in biodiversity conservation and green development. Since 2017, CBCGDF staff have actively participated in the French Embassy's China-France Environment Month activities. Finally, the two sides look forward to more exchanges on environmental protection in the future.
Zhou Jinfeng also invited His Excellency Ambassador Monsieur Laurent Bili to attend the 17th International Conference on Genomics (ICG-17) which will be held in Chengdu from September 1, 2022, and the Ambassador readily agreed.
