The interview has Ms. Zhang Miao, director of Shanghai Ecocycle as the host and two guests are:

Dr. Yan Changrong: Researcher of Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development in Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences; Director of the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Film Pollution Prevention and Control of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the PRC; Chair of the International Agricultural Plastics Association;

Ms. Hou Jingyue: Executive director of Rural plastic upgrading management, GIZ

China is the largest user of mulch film, consuming about 75% of the global use. Mulch film can increase the average yield which has made a great contribution to China's agriculture. However, if not thoroughly cleaned and collected after being discarded, the mulch film will bring plastic pollution to the land and a threat to soil quality and food security. In the interview, Dr. Yan made an in-depth analysis and explanation on the impact of mulch film residue on soil and agricultural production in China and Ms. Hou introduced European experience in agricultural mulch film management.

The public welfare series interview of "Yo Yo Lu Ming - interview with Environmental and Biodiversity Conservation experts", launched in mid-March,2002, aims to promote the global construction of ecological civilization. CBCGDF has been paying attention to plastic pollution and soil ecology. Mulch Film technology has made an important historical contribution to China's food security and played an irreplaceable role in promoting agricultural development. However, with the increase of the amount of mulch film used, the problem of mulch film residue on soi has become increasingly prominent. CBCGDF hopes to further promote mulch film recycling and plastic film pollution prevention and control through this live broadcast, so as to promote the green the construction of rural ecological civilization.
