On August 2, 2021, the "regulations for the use and report of disposable plastic products (draft for comments)" expert seminar led by led by the Policy and Law Department of CBCGDF was held in Beijing. The seminar focused on the use of disposable plastic products, practical cases and suggestions on report management, and suggestions on the draft. The seminar was broadcast live by video and graphics on CBCGDF media platforms with a total of about 3000 people participating online. 

Jin Hongman, former deputy director of the Statistics Department of the General Administration of customs and teacher of the socio-economic data center of Tsinghua University, shared his suggestions:

1. The reporting system for disposable plastic products is very important. 

2. It is suggested to adopt the internationally accepted "compostable" standard.

3. It is suggested to establish a "reporting and statistical system", and write in more detail.

4. The use of plastics in Prepackages should be restricted.

5. It is suggested to develop consumers' green habits.

6. Strengthen the research on "plastic recycling tax" and control plastics from the source.

7. Give full play to the leadership advantages of the government and the party.
