Recently, the Ministry of Commerce has studied and drafted the measures for the regulations for the use and report of disposable plastic products (draft for comments), and is soliciting comments from the public. On August 2, 2021, the draft seminar led by the Policy and Law Department of CBCGDF was held in Beijing. On behalf of the working group, Wang Huo, head of the "Plastic reducing and picking" working group of CBCGDF, put forward the following suggestions on the exposure draft:

1、 It is suggested to include "ecological civilization" and "carbon neutralization" in [legislative purpose].

2、 It is suggested to include disposable cups (plastic cups and paper cups with plastic waterproof membrane) in the draft of regulations.

3、 It is suggested to include "promoting the formation of green production and lifestyle in the whole society" in the provisions of [legislative purpose] or [overall requirements].

4、 It is suggested to replace "exhibition" with "business exhibition".

5、 It is suggested that the E-commerce of Fresh Food should be listed separately, and the fresh-keeping film and foam packaging box should be included in the report.

6、 It is suggested to add the role of supervision and participation of the public and social organizations in Chapter IV Supervision and management.
