The International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation has recently been invited to collaborate with the Chinese Society for International Exchanges to participate in the BRICS Civil Forum 2021 hosted by India.  

The BRICS Civil Forum, which was first held in 2015, is an important platform for non-governmental exchanges and cooperation among BRICS countries and plays an important role in addressing public health, education, culture, development, finance and economic issues.  

Theme：Intra-BRICS Cooperation for Continuity, Consolidation and Consensus

Focus on: Reformed multilateralism, technological and digital solutions for Sustainable Development Goals, counter-terrorism cooperation and enhancing P2P cooperation.

The themes of the forum on 28-29 July include: 

-Right to start a business: The role of technology 

-People's participation in sustainable development: the BRICS experience  

-Society and peacebuilding  

The representative of CBCGDF is invited to speak in the Plenary Session II on "People's Participation on Sustainability: The BRICS Experience" scheduled to be held on 29 July 2021 (Thursday) at 18.30 hours (GMT+8).
