Starting from 6:45 p.m. on June 14, Beijing time, the 10 day meeting of IPBES-8 ended successfully last night. Nearly 800 participants from member state of the platform, United Nations agencies, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations joined the meeting. 

We have witnessed the discussion and adoption of reports on the scope of the Nexus assessment and Transformative change assessment, which is a meaningful and tough process. CBCGDF highly appreciates the efforts made by IPBES and all participants. 

We are glad and honored to join the whole process of the IPBES-8 and learn a lot from the discussions. Meanwhile, we also appreciate colleagues from the International Department of CBCGDF for their record and follow-up of the IPBES-8. Look forward to the next meeting!
