On June 2, the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Beijing celebrated its national day and invited Xiong Yutong, the Deputy Secretary-General of CBCGDF, to the reception held in Beijing. Luca Ferrari, the Ambassador of Italy to China, delivered an opening speech for the event. He mentioned that they could host such an event thanks to no reported COVID-19 cases in Beijing. He also emphasized the cooperation between Italy and China in environmental protection and Italy will make its contributions to the upcoming UN Biodiversity Conference (COP15) in Kunming, China this year. 

Mrs.Xiong has shared CBCGDF’s past work and achievements in the areas of biodiversity and environmental protection with distinguished guests at the reception.
