On October 19, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), met with Mr. Jocelyn Blériot, executive officer of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and his colleagues.

Since its founding, Ellen MacArthur Foundation works with business, government, and academia to build a framework for an economy that is restorative and regenerative by design.

Mr. Jocelyn Blériot briefly introduced the Foundation and its activities, especially the smooth cooperation with the Good Food Fund of CBCGDF and hopes to promote further partnership. Ellen MacArthur Foundation colleagues also introduced the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment Spring 2019 Report co-signed by the UN Environment Programme. Dr. Zhou Jinfeng gave an introduction to the efforts made by CBCGDF, especially initiatives and actions of combating plastic pollution, advocating sustainable food systems (the Good Food Fund) and textile (sustainable fashion and cloth recycling).
