Chinese chefs during a a visit Monday to
the Yale Culinary Support Center in New Haven, prepare a meal in
coordination with Yale University chefs for approximately 250 Yale
University students and Yale V.I.P.'s that is 85% plant-based version of
a traditional Chinese New Year menu. The cooking and dinner is the
start of a 2-week long Northeast sustainability-focused food tour by the
7 Chinese chefs and other Chinese food industry leaders, the Food
Forward Forum. Besides Yale, the group will also visit the University of
Connecticut, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the
University of Hartford.
