Recently, Qifan ZHANG, a volunteer of the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), applied for the Yale University in the 2023 graduation season and was admitted.

Zhang is a student of the "Sustainable Development Talent Training Program" jointly initiated by the International Department of CBCGDF and the Globalization and Development (GAD) major of Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (BNU-HKBU UIC). Zhang was an intern at the International Department of CBCGDF in late 2021 and early 2022. During this period, he actively participated in the Save African Forest Elephant Conference held online on January 26, 2022, and alsoattended the Ramsar Wetland Convention World Wetlands Day Commemoration Symposium held online to celebrate World Wetlands Day on February 2, 2022 .

For a long time, CBCGDF has focused on the cultivation of young talents and youth development, and is willing to provide a platform for young volunteers to learn, communicate and grow. They expressed their voices on various stages and contributed the power of youth to the protection of biodiversity and the community of life on earth.
