On June 21, the Standards Center of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) held an internal discussion on preparations for the upcoming ISO/TC331 Annual Conference. Deng ziwen from the International Cooperation Department introduced the background, agenda and registration methods of the conference. The person in charge of the Standards Center reviewed the report and analyzed and answered questions raised by relevant international biodiversity standards.

Biodiversity standards will promote global efforts to build an ecological civilization and a community of life on Earth. To promote the internationalization of China's biodiversity conservation standards, the CBCGDF submitted a proposal for the formulation of international standards for biodiversity assessment to the Technical Committee on Biodiversity (ISO/TC331) of the International Standardization Organization (ISO/TC331) based on the release and implementation of Biodiversity Assessment Standards, to promote global environmental governance. The meeting was an internal preparatory meeting for the Center's participation in the Committee's first annual meeting.
