Recently, Ms. Linda, deputy secretary-general of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), received an email from Mr. Stefan Barot, CEO of Biotec, inviting Linda to discuss the possibility of cooperation in green consumption marketing via ZOOM. The meeting contents are summarized as follows:

BIOTEC is a leading company that develops and produces sustainable bioplastics made from plant-based renewable resources. The film and rigid application range stretch from refuse and shopper bags to pharmaceutical capsules, including food industry blisters, cosmetics packaging and many other requests from our clients. BIOTEC produces and sells a new generation of customized thermoplastic materials with various functional properties under the brand name BIOPLAST. All products made from BIOPLAST grades are 100% biodegradable.

Mr. Stefan said he contacted CBCGDF to learn more about China's green consumption market and explore cooperation possibilities. Linda recommended Chinese enterprises that are willing to lead green consumption, such as Suning, MissFresh, Starbucks China, food delivery platform and Beijing Daxing International Airport. When Linda mentioned Starbucks, Stefan says he's surprised that many foreign Starbucks stores have closed because of the epidemic, and he praises China for its anti-epidemic efforts. Stefan said he was surprised, because many Starbucks in other countries had closed down due to the outbreak, and he praised China for its anti-epidemic efforts.

Linda said that Hainan government has done a great job in limiting plastics and protecting the environment. She suggested Stefan contact potential partners like Hainan Airlines or the Boao Forum for Asia. When Linda asks Stefan if he knows Hainan, Stefan flaunts his knowledge of China, saying that he knows Hainan is the second largest island in China and Taiwan is the first.

Through this meeting, CBCGDF and Stefan have a better understanding of the green consumption market and the national policies of their respective countries. We believe that there will be opportunities for cooperation in the future.

Stay tuned for further information.
