Recently, Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), and John Ashlin, Chinese representative of the Netherlands Circle Economy, jointly attended the Summer Social sponsored by Crossboundaries. The event opened the prelude to the cooperation between the CBCGDF and the Netherlands Circle Economy and strengthened follow-up cooperation on future student workshop projects. Summer Social is supported by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), Circle Economy, Moonshot Academy, and the Bulk House, etc.

Summer Social's main purpose is to collect the usual courier waste online and carry it with you on the evening of the event to participate in the theme building of the event site. At the same time, enjoy the party, make friends, and share views on waste utilization.

Many friends who come to Summer Social will bring courier waste into waste collection baskets. This is not just to complete a device or an aircraft, but to stop and think together: as enterprises, institutions, and individuals, for waste collection and circular economy. In terms of sustainable development, what small details can be used to do more beneficial things to protect the environment and save resources?

On the evening of the event, Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the CBCGDF, had a cordial exchange with young students from universities in Beijing and young people from all walks of life. Secretary-General Zhou mentioned that such activities are very meaningful, which is in line with the environmental protection concept advocated by CBCGDF. They not only enable everyone to actively participate in garbage sorting but also practice the concept of ecological civilization. Through waste recycling, the effect of resource recycling has been achieved. Secretary-General Zhou also introduced to them the "Green University" of CBCGDF and the expansion of the volunteer system of the CBCGDF, proving that the development of the environment requires the strength of young people, and calling on them to actively participate in such activities in the future. John Ashlin, China Representative of the Netherlands Circle Economy, said: "This is a very interesting activity. Seeing more and more people can pay attention to such an activity, I think our efforts, our advocacy, and work achieved value."

Individual strength may be insignificant, but if everyone's strength comes together, "gather together as a fire" is incalculable. Environmental protection and garbage sorting cannot be achieved by individuals alone. Beautiful earth needs to be guarded by all of us.
