On August 16, 2019, China Business Climate Action (CBCA), China Association of Circular Economy Internet + Resource Recycling Professional Committee, and Peking University Youth CEO Club jointly held a theme salon on “Commercial Carbon Reduction X Garbage Classification”. Through the gathering the outstanding representatives in the industry, to discuss the commercial solutions and carbon reduction effects of waste separation and recycling. Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and the Secretary-General of Vanke Foundation Chen Yiei, and the Secretary-General of China Association of Circular Economy Internet + Resource Recycling Professional Committee Hou Yun were invited to address the salon.

Dr. Zhou also served as a consultant to the Youth CEO Club of Peking University. In his speech, he said that the CBCGDF would formally sign up to participate in the China Business Climate Action (CBCA) and that in the future, all the volunteers and relevant units of the CBCGDF would be organized and mobilized to participate in it. The earth is facing the crisis of the Anthropocene. We need to discuss and think about the new civilization together, and form laws, systems and civilizations. Welcome the participation of more social organizations, institutions, and individuals. If we work together, we can change the world.

Chen Yimei, Secretary-General of Vanke Foundation, said that on the 2nd “Zero Waste Day”, people are facing climate change with sustainable strategic objectives. Today's salon is a discussion about the future and destiny of human beings. It will play the role of "China Corner" in the international arena. 

Hou Yun, China Association of Circular Economy(CACE), the Internet and Resource Recycling Specialized Committee, said that in the 19th National Congress of CPC report(the Communist Party of China), General Secretary Xi put forward the goal of accelerating the reform of the system of ecological civilization and building a beautiful China. To achieve this goal, we must carry out the development of green low carbon.

Green economy, circular economy, and low-carbon economy essentially share the same system view, development view, production view, consumption view and ultimate goal as the economic development model of sustainable development concept, but there are differences in specific focus. The promotion and implementation of the circular economy can be divided into three levels: the enterprise level with cleaner production as the main content; the regional level with industrial symbiosis network and ecological park construction as the main content; and the social level with green consumption and waste recycling network construction as the main content.

Representatives of Yingchuang BOTTLOOP, Flying Ants, Huishoubao, Aobag, and Carbonstop also shared business solutions on garbage sorting and reduction.

Liu Xuesong, founder of Yingchuang BOTTLOOP and executive vice president of Yingchuang BOTTLOOP, shared the regeneration of plastic products. Yingchuang Intelligent Waste Recycling Machine has recycled more than 58 million plastic bottles and reduced carbon by more than 3132 tons. BOTTLOOP is Yingchuang's environmental protection brand. To make recycling become a fashionable lifestyle.

CRO Qin Tian shared the recycling of electronic products. Huishoubao has four major plates, online and offline channels, and Xianyu, Tianmao and other platforms to work together to replace the old. It's only for the use of the payment, not for residual value to pay. 

Wang Bin, head of the Flying Ant Environmental Protection Supply Chain, shared the recycling of textiles. Flying ants were founded in 2014 by two young people. They used the Internet for old clothes treatment, free home service to recycle old clothes, then sorting, and finally used for recycling and public welfare export.

Zhang Lin, project manager of Aobag Environmental Protection Beijing Branch, shared the front-end classification model. Garbage classification is to classify and deliver, store and transport the garbage generated in daily life, to promote the reasonable and effective disposal of garbage, thereby reducing the cost of garbage disposal, resource waste, and environmental pollution. Aobag introduced 14 kinds of recycling methods (5 kinds of plastics, 4 kinds of single, 3 kinds of paper, 2 kinds of metals, 1 principle), use full bags to change empty bags, centralized delivery points. The recycled items are clean, dry and odorless.

Yan Luhui, the founder and general manager of Carbonstop, shared the carbon emission reduction effect of waste classification business solutions. The carbon emission reduction cases related to garbage classification were shared, and the relevant accounting methods and details were shared with the Xishan courtyard as an example.

This event is an important discussion on the development of green low-carbon recycling economy and garbage classification. The discussion content and sharing cases broaden our thinking on the development of green low-carbon recycling economy and garbage classification, which will play an important guiding role in human lifestyle.
