Recently, the founder of Weimtek, Cai Wenyuan, and his colleagues visited the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) to introduce the business development to Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the CBCGDF, and to hope that Dr. Zhou Jinfeng could guide the business development.

According to their introduction, in March 2017, with Peking University as the starting point, through the modern reverse supply chain system and the powerful selection pricing service platform, more than 1,600 universities and more than 3,000 merchants across the country were visited and linked, which provide students with abundant social practice opportunity, create an open, free, self-expression, and value-realized space to grow up.

Weimtek pursues a green and minimalist quality of life, enabling the circulation of goods in an efficient, environmentally friendly and intelligent way, and achieving the enterprise mission of “there is no difficult second-hand business in the world”. At present, Weimtek has completed A+ round financing and has reached strategic cooperation with Baidu, JD.com, Xiangwushuo, SF Express, Aihuishou, Xianyu (Taobao Second-hand goods), UBOX, 36Kr, Free Lunch For Children as well as many other internet companies. Weimtek has collected 5,197,805 books, which is equivalent to reducing the cutting down of 64,973 trees, reducing sewage discharge by 1,213,038 liters, and reducing exhaust gas emissions by 38,983,538 cubic meters. Besides, Weimtek has opened 3C and clothing recycling businesses in hundreds of universities.

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng highly appreciated Weimtek’s business model. During the conversation, Mr. Cai Wenyuan and Dr. Zhou Jinfeng noticed that they are alumni of Peking University. As a consultant of Peking University Youth CEO Club, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng is very willing to help young people solve the problems they encounter in the process of entrepreneurship. “Saving is the greatest environmental protection” is the guiding ideology put forward by Dr. Zhou Jinfeng in promoting the recycling of used clothes by the CBCGDF. After understanding Weimtek’s business, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng gave Weimtek’s representative pertinent suggestions from four aspects: building enterprise reputation, maintaining public relations, expanding business integration and enterprise macro-development. He also expressed his willingness to conduct on-the-spot investigations, put forward pertinent opinions on the development of enterprises, help the development of green enterprises, and make do efforts for the construction of ecological civilization.
