On 30th July 2019, the 2019 Green Design and Industrial Transformation Theme Development Forum and Global Green Design Conference Monthly Branch were successfully held in Yancheng. It was sponsored by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), Management Committee of Yancheng Environmental Science and Technology City and the Global Green Design Conference, supported by Yancheng Youth Federation, Modu Space, D9X Link Community, M+ Maker Workshop and other organizations.

The conference centered to discuss the significance of innovative design in industrial transformation, the innovation-driven in the process of the urban green residential environment construction, interventions in the development process of Yancheng Environmental Science and Technology City, the construction of the urban green community and green design demonstration base, feasibility demonstration in the establishment of Yancheng green innovation design center and green design youth talent exchange center (Yancheng) and other aspects. More than 30 representatives from the government and enterprises attended the meeting. Xiao Qing, the deputy secretary-general of the CBCGDF attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

First of all, Li Xiaoming, the deputy director of Management Committee of Yancheng Environmental Science and Technology City, Wang Luming, the vice president of Yancheng Institute of Technology, and Yin Tongyang, the secretary of Yancheng committee of the Communist Youth League delivered speeches respectively. In speeches, the three guests introduced Yancheng's geographical advantages, construction process, and development direction. Wang Luming, the vice president of Yancheng Institute of Technology, Tian Wenmiao, the former deputy secretary-general of China Industrial Design Association, Lin Posong, the director of the CBCGDF Global Green Design Conference Preparatory Committee and the founder of D9X Link Community, Wang Jin, the founder of Modu Space, Dong Jingbo, chairman of the ui.cn and other experts, scholars and entrepreneurs also share their professional presentation.

At the opening ceremony, Xiao Qing, the deputy secretary-general of the CBCGDF introduced the efforts of the CBCGDF and the CBCGDF 's efforts to apply the list of world heritage for Migratory Bird Sanctuaries along the Coast of Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf of China (Phase I) in Yancheng. He also said that the Global Green Design Conference, as a new brand of the CBCGDF to be launched to the world. There is a glorious opportunity in the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China. The Global Green Design Conference has been recognized by many organizations as a conference designed with the future. In the future, Yancheng will become a green and ecological city. By the promotion of the conference and the active efforts of all involved parties, it will certainly be fruitful.

During the meeting, the leaders and experts also visited the National Wetland Reserve of the Red-Crowned Crane in Yancheng and the Dafeng Milu National Nature Preserves in Jiangsu province.
