CBCGDF’s No. 001 and No. 003 “Low Carbon Workshops”, under the leadership of Professor Ma Hao from Nanjing Agricultural University, are constantly striving to face challenges. Recently, the team of Professor Ma Hao sent a newsletter: Since June 2023, the Apocynum in Yuli County, Xinjiang has entered the flowering period, and the Apocynum can be seen everywhere in the rural fields, which makes people deeply feel the beauty of nature. CBCGDF’s low-carbon workshop working group will now share the current situation with readers and friends.
It is reported that Yuli County in Xinjiang is an important origin, processing and export base of Apocynum and other natural fiber raw materials in China. The county has an area of nearly 1.6 million mu of Apocynum and can produce 25,000 tons of Apocynum fiber annually, with an output value of nearly 100 million yuan.
After two months, Professor Ma Hao led the research team to Yuli County, Xinjiang again to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation and future development direction of the Apocynum industry in the county. Professor Ma also held discussions with relevant local departments and entrepreneurs, listened to their opinions and suggestions on the development of the Apocynum industry, and provided relevant technical and management consulting opinions, in order to provide better assistance for the development of the local Apocynum industry.
In the next step, Nanjing Sanshengwanwu Low-Carbon Workshop will cooperate vigorously with local enterprises and industry associations in large-scale mechanical transplanting, breeding, seedling management and intelligent processing of Apocynum, so as to promote the technological upgrading of Apocynum industry , enhance the advantages of Apocynum in the market competition, and promote the long-term development and prosperity of the Apocynum industry.
