On the afternoon of June 19th, 2023, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) paid a visit to the Public Relations Committee of China-Asia Economic Development Association and had talks with Mr. Li Zhongguo, President of the Public Relations Committee.

The Public Relations Committee attaches great importance to public welfare undertakings. President Li introduced that it has set up special funds in the China Red Cross Society and the National Working Committee on Ageing to promote the development of public welfare undertakings.

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng introduced the development history and international exchange of CBCGDF. CBCGDF is an international observer of the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (UNCCD) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), actively carrying out international exchanges and cooperation, and effectively participating in global environmental governance. CBCGDF works in the fields of ecological civilization construction and green development, and has established a number of special committees.

In the future, the two organizations will cooperate in the fields of green certification and biodiversity protection, making use of their resources and playing their respective roles so as to promote the development of charity.
