On June 6, 2023, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), met with three CBCGDF volunteers and communicated with them. Dr. Zhou also asked the volunteers if they had any difficulties in their work.

It is very difficult to do environmental protection (especially pollution investigation) in China, and volunteers often encounter resistance from different parties. Over the years, CBCGDF has been helping many pollution investigations to carry out their work.

Dr. Zhou affirmed the achievements of the volunteers in environmental protection in various places, and said that the front-line work is very hard, and he urged the volunteers to pay attention to safety when carrying out their work.
