The first China Computer Federation Tech for Good Conference was held in Yuhang District, Hangzhou Province on April 15, 2023. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), was invited to participate in the conference and share a report themed on "The Entanglement of Biodiversity and Computer".

Dr. Zhou said: The environmental costs brought by the upgrading and replacement of computers are significant. We believe that the computer industry should also engage in thinking profoundly in ‘Tech For Good’. Has its environmental cost been sufficiently considered? Excessive and useless waste of resources is also a kind of entanglement between the computer and biodiversity.
