On the afternoon of February 10, 2023, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the Secretary General of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), invited Professor Shahbaz Khan, the Director of the UNESCO Office, to participate in the upcoming From Montreal to World People - 2023 International Biodiversity Conference of People, which will be held on May 22-24, and Professor Shahbaz Khan gladly accepted.
Professor Shahbaz Khan was appointed Director of UNESCO China Office on March 9, 2021. Prof. Khan joined UNESCO in 2008 at its Headquarters as Chief of the Water and Sustainable Development Section.
