Reduce Carbon Emissions

Recently, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) hosted the first preparatory meeting for the corporate sustainable development carbon emission reduction bidding project. The meeting invited the Secretary General, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng and some directors of CBCGDF's secondary institutions and CBCGDF's protected areas.

The secondary institutions of CBCGDF and some CBCGDF protected areas who came to attend the meeting have made outstanding achievements in the fields of carbon reduction and biodiversity conservation. After listening to their introductions on the implementation of projects such as Fujian "Guanzhuang Hua Pig", Hunan Manshan Black Pig Breeding, and "Ecological Rice Planting" in Zhejiang and Heilongjiang Provinces, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng made an important speech.

He emphasized that CBCGDF and its secondary institutions actively support enterprises to participate in the construction of low-carbon ecological civilization, assist in achieving the double-carbon standard and rural revitalization, and give targeted guidance to everyone's ongoing project plans. At the same time, he proposed for the first time that CBCGDF will launch a series of low-carbon rural construction projects, hoping that CBCGDF's protected areas, BCON ( Biodiversity Conservation in Our Neighborhood), Eco-sites, and relevant secondary institutions will actively participate in the promotion. Its purpose is to help achieve the national "3060" Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality goal, support the recycling of resources in agriculture and rural areas, save energy and reduce carbon emissions, actively carry out clean energy replacement in the development of animal husbandry and planting, and improve rural environmental pollution. In the end, rural revitalization will be realized and a road of common prosperity of towns and villages will be found.
