The Letter from CBCGDF to Chinese Ambassador to Senegal Asking Local Chinese Students or Patriotic Overseas Chinese for Help
2022/5/6 14:28:00 本站

Here is the letter: I am a staff member of the International Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation. Taking the liberty of interrupting, I am writing to you to ask your embassy to help contact or recommend patriotic Chinese students or overseas Chinese in Senegal to participate in our delegation and the meeting of the ad hoc open-ended working group of the UNEP Convention on plastic pollution to be held in Dakar.

The aim of the meeting is to prepare for the development of a legally binding international instrument on plastic pollution, including plastic pollution in the marine environment. The meeting will be held Online + offline in Dakar, Senegal from May 30 to June 1, 2022. As the certification body of the United Nations Environment assembly, we received an invitation from the United Nations Environment Programme and were invited to send two representatives to the meeting.

We hope to strive for more advantages for China in the new round of international comprehensive national strength competition and help the world build ecological civilization by actively participating in global environmental governance and from a non-governmental perspective. However, given the current epidemic situation, it may have been difficult for us to send representatives from China. Therefore, we need your support! Thank you!
