The Life Diary of the Remaining of Five Pangolins | “Snore” Just Died, Only Four are Left

I named the two total sleeping as “Always Sleep” and “No Move”, the youngest is called “Little Kid”, and the other is called “Snore” because it lung has problems and the breathing is very heavy. The first “Last Night” had a bad appetite yesterday, which made us very worried. According to the latest news from China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) colleague at the frontline, “Snore” has unfortunately left us forever.

On the evening of April 18th, we saw "Last Night", which was still lying in yesterday's place, still making an angry voice. After a while it got up and didn't eat.

And the two big "Always Sleep" and a small "No Move", when they were seen for the third time, they still slept in the same position, almost the same posture.

After everyone's joint efforts, red ants, black ants, and white ants have clues – there are places to find rations. Experts also put forward formula recommendations, African experts also suggested that we take them out for field rescue; Malaysian experts have prepared special effects rescue injections; related parties suggested that blood tests should not be carried out first for the fear of stress response.

The infrared camera was delivered very quickly, hoping to install it very soon. New recipes and foods will soon start to be synchronized for their choice. The two expert teams of CBCGDF also soon to begin to conduct genetic and viral tests.

Separate maintenance has not yet been achieved. We urgently need local resources support in Guangzhou to solve the problems faced, mainly the ambulance site, including 24-hour duty; including veterinary, transportation, food, medicine and so on.

The amount of food delivered, and the amount of leftover should be weighed, and the daily intake of each pangolin should be recorded.

Experts in the African Pangolin Working Group suggest that if they do not eat or lose weight, we should use a stomach tube to feed - who can help us solve the following problem with the stomach tube feeder?
