The Bird Watching Working Committee of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) once conducted a scientific study on swifts. The Common swift comes to Beijing in April and flies to the western Mediterranean in July or August, and then to the southern end of Africa, and in the following year, they will return to Beijing. This phenomenon has been evolved over time. If Beijing does not have the suitable environment for their living, they will have no support for life. This is the community of life on Earth, and all living things are closely related.

The Great Bustard (Otis tarda) is the heaviest bird that can fly. China has established a Great Bustard Conservation Area in Inner Mongolia, but their numbers are still continuously decreasing. This is partly because of their weight which makes them take off slowly and easily hunted. CBCGDF proposed the establishment of a "Great Bustard Conservation Area" in 2016, and quickly established around 200 protected areas nationwide. However, nature protection is not only a protection within conservation areas, but also a fundamental change in the way species are conserved.
