On September 10, 2022, a member of Neighborhood Biodiversity Conservation Working Group(BCON) of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) shared his experience, from which, we can see why biological control and simple and easy natural farming methods often seem insignificant in the face of the power of capital.
I just chatted with a person who sells agricultural materials today. He saw that the pest damage in our radish and cabbage fields were very light and there were no whiteflies. He asked us how to prevent and control the pest damage. I said : doing nothing and letting nature take its course. He told me that a farmer had just telephoned ,saying that the cabbage whitefles in his 60 acres of cabbage were very serious and there was nothing he could do.
In this regard, I suggest that you can use Beauveria bassiana, diatomaceous earth and mineral emulsifiable oil for comprehensive control. Mineral emulsifiable oil can decompose whitefly wax, diatomaceous earth can scratch the body of whitefly, and then inoculate Beauveria bassiana, the effect should be very good. This kind of pest control is very cheap and the cost is very low. But he would not make money selling this. For the first time, I really encountered a statement of selling agricultural materials.
