In order to further strengthen the protection of the ecological environment and biodiversity of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, effectively balance the relationship between economic development and ecological protection in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the 38th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress held on December 27 heard a report on the revision of the Draft of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Ecological Protection Law, conducted a second review of the Draft to form the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Ecological Protection Law ( Draft for the second review) and announced to the public.

The Legal Work Committee of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) attaches great importance to the legislative work of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Ecological Protection Law. We invited experts and scholars, non-profit organizations, volunteers, media representatives, etc. to participate in the discussion on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Ecological Protection Law(Draft), and put forward many constructive suggestions for revision of the Draft. 

The Legal Work Committee of the CBCGDF summarized and sorted out these suggestions and submitted them to the Legal Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
