Up to now, the volunteer team has more than 50 volunteers regularly participating in the action.

Since the start of the fishing ban in 2020, volunteers have teamed up with the Fishery Dept of Harbin New District Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Corps to implement the Mother River protection plan of Songhuajiang. For three consecutive years, it has carried out actions in conjunction with Harbin Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Fisheries administration and urban departments to jointly create a "government + people + media" ecological protection model of Songhuajiang.
